Gah, that's a tough question. Both are good companies(great companies), but I'd have to say SM Entertainment. Main reason being that there are more artists that I like from that company.

Yeah.. SM entertainment is cool cause of the artist they release, most of them my favs (H.O.T, DBSK, SuJu) .. but JYP ent. has this plus that is... I don't know how to name this, but they make more moves to promote their artists abroad, they not only focus on singing but in dancing, and really, mostly of the JYP's groups (yeh, specially 2PM) are really good dancers, good singers, in other words, great entertainers, and that's something SM lacks of...

I'd choose SM Entertainment...lol...iono abt u guys but i just feel that sm artists has more freedom (?)

I define 'better' by being able to help artistes achieve fame and recognition. Both are good but SM produces, by far, more popular artistes.
Since every company has scandals about 'mistreating' their artistes, I guess SM is safer choice (if that's part of Alan's plan - JYP/SM) because they have more experience.

I vote for JYP 
In my feeling SM is more toward the entertaining and personalities of th idol
but JYP concentrate more on the performance and music
Didn't say SM is not good but i think JYP suite Alan better
But if u like to go on lots of television n show stick w/ SM
