Dear, tree of love, How are you doing? It's been awhile since I last came to visit. I know you're probably mad at me, right? It's funny how you're always so calm. Well, I'm doing good and life itself is pretty fair. I don't know where to start or end my days sometime. I'm struck at "if" a lot and wonders what should I do? I miss those days. I really really do. It feels like yesterday.
Sincerely,
Ka

"Ka Marie-Christan Bonita, are you done writing in your diary"? say, Mom.
"Mom, it's a journal. Not a diary". say, Ka.
(Coming down the stairs)
Mom, just call me Ka.
Well, I love your whole name. Remember Marie is your grandma's middle name and Christan is your grandpa.
"We have to go to Grandma's house today, right"? say Ka.
Are you driving or I'm driving?
You're driving, hun. I want you to get more experiences before you get your license.
Okay, Mom.
Just to let know you, hun. Your grandma wants you to spend the nights over her house.
Again, why, Mom?
She says so.
So, you have to.
This is the last time. okay, Mom?
Mom?
Are you listening?
Mom?
Go get your stuff, hun.
-Ka, are you coming?
(Knocking on the car window)
In a bit, go in first, I have to write in my journal.
Dear Journal, I'm writing again. Well, I'm at my Grandma's house again.
I don't know why she always wants me to come over here.
There's nothing interesting around here anyway.
There's trees and more trees. Wow!
Sincerely,
Ka
Ka, don't let me repeat again.
Coming, Mom.
Hi, Grandma.
Hi, Ka.
Well, hun, your Grandma just told me; she remodeled her backyard.
Go check it out.
Okay, Mom.
(saying sarcastically)
(Ka goes outside to the backyard)
It's still the same.
(Ka sees a bunny and follows it)
(Into the forest, Ka went)
Mr. Bunny come here. Hey, don't run.
(Ka starts to run)
Mr. Bunny...
(Ka trips over a branch)
Ouch, Mr. Bun...
There stood a big, tall, beautiful, tree.
Oh, it's so pretty.
(Ka gets up and looked at the tree)
So, Grandma really did remodel her background.
(Ka turns around and look around)
Why is the tree so far from her house, then?
Hello, Mr. Tree.
(Ka touches the tree)
(A bright light appears and Ka disappears)
All that was left was the tree.
End of Ch 1.
